Reliance Jio has now added a voice assistant to the MyJio
app with a new update. The new Voice Assistant named HelloJio can be accessed
via the mic icon on the top right corner of the My Jio Android app. This
assistant can be used to use the given feature in the app.
The new function was first made public by Telecom Talk.
According to this report, HelloJio can use Voice Assistant for both Hindi and
English languages. The details of this new feature are not listed in the
ChangeLog on Google Play. And despite being the latest Beta Build, we have not
been able to use this feature. This indicates that updates are being phased out
for the feature now.
As we mentioned, according to the initial user, the HelloJio
feature is available in the right corner at the top of the 'Jio Apps' icon on
the MyJio app's home screen. By clicking on the mic button, you will reach the
interface of HelloJio Voice Assistant. It is worth noting that there is no hands-free
control to use HelloJio.
New Voice Assistant can do many types of work. These include
mobile recharge, bill payment, music and movie play, opening a live app and
calling. Along with this, you can get answers to questions related to the Jio
Tariff Plan like 'Dhan Dhana Dhan Offer What is'. HelloJio Voice Assistant can
set alarm with Voice command. For this you have to say "set the alarm
[followed by the time you want to set]".
As we said, all these work can also be done through the
Hindi Voice Assistant. HelloJio Assistant is also expected to come in support
for other regional languages soon. There is no information about when this
feature will come in the MyJio iOS app.
Recall that recently a special edition of Google Assistant
was launched for the Jio Phone Review.
