OnePlus 5 will get a
Face Unlock feature like OnePlus 5T
The company has given Christmas gift to OnePlus5 user and
now this smartphone will get support for Face Unlock and Facial Recognition
Technology. The recently launched OnePlus 5T phone unlocks the device with the
help of the phone's front camera through Face Unlock. OnePlus 5T was the first
smartphone with facial recognition technology feature. And after that Apple
gave the Face ID feature in the iPhone X.
As we mentioned, OnePlus5 will soon become the second
smartphone of the company, which will feature Face Unlock feature. OnePlus
co-founder Karl Pei tweeted this Sunday by tweeting. They said that the company
took this decision under the feedback from its user. Twitter users also said
that their support for phones like Old Phone OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T on their
tweets.
Face Unlock is easy to get support in older smartphones
because it is software based. While many sensors have been used for depth
mapping and laser protection in the Face ID feature of the apple. This means
that facial clearance of OnePlus OnePlus is not as safe as the apple but is
much easier and faster.
OnePlus 5 has also recently been updated with the Oxygen OS
5.0 update. With this update, the final build comes in the phone after the
release of Android 8.0 Orio Beta 1 and Beta 2 build in the phone. From the
arrival of the Oxygen OS 5.0 update, the launcher, which is customized in
OnePlus 5, has a new 'Places' feature for a facelift for the default camera app
and the Gallery tab. With these updates, the important features of Android Orio
such as new picture-in-picture mode, smart text selection, and auto-fill are
included.
Remind that OnePlus 5 has a 5.5 inch Full HD (1080x1920
pixels) optic amoled display. The smartphone has a 1.9 GHz octa-core Qualcomm
Snapdragon 835 processor. The phone has 8 GB RAM and 128 GB inbuilt storage.
